Stereotypes, comic macchiatas, whitewashing, questionable dubbing. These are some of the examples in the world of film entertainment that, until recently, were the majority of representations regarding different ethnicities, disabled people, and minorities of various kinds. The need for change is becoming increasingly urgent. The expression of inclusivity and the consideration of diversity on screen are now imperative requirements. There are countless socio-cultural realities in the world and we are slowly approaching their discovery. They deserve a representation in cinema that respects and promotes them.
