Sharlette Hambrick is the founder and CEO of Y-Tulip Productions and has a successful career as an entertainment industry executive. She has changed the landscape of entertainment television and has led the cultivation and expansion of all new platforms.


Hambrick earned a degree in broadcast journalism from Pepperdine University. She completed postgraduate studies in Cologne, Germany, and at Stanford. She is a guest lecturer at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism and frequently attends conferences on technology-related content.


Currently Hambrick is consulting on Film, TV series, Documentaries and Podcast, as well as Mergers and Acquisitions in the Entertainment arena. Hambrick’s Domestic and International expertise is sought after. She was a producer of the international environmental animated music video EARTH with Lil Dicky, Ryot and Iconic Engine. This collaboration involved hundreds of animation artists from around the world, and The Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation. It featured a bevy of A-list performers including Leonardo Di Caprio, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Kevin Hart and Zac Brown, to name a few. Additionally, Hambrick was tapped by Disney, Paramount, Sony and Universal to serve as Executive Producer of the Chinese broadcast and digital show, Talking to Hollywood with Betty Zhou (令对话好莱坞), which aired weekly on China’s CCTV6, reaching some 900 million homes. The show consisted of Hollywood content for China’s Television, Digital, E-Commerce and Theater markets.

Sharlette Hambrick is best known for her Emmy-winning tenure as a Senior Producer at "Entertainment Tonight", where she led film content including the coverage of all the major film festivals (Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Sundance).


From her beginnings as a segment producer to her status as senior producer, she successfully helped restructure the show's overall focus and increase its reach and visibility. Her efforts led her to being instrumental in the launch of the movie review show Hot Ticket with Leonard Maltin, followed by the launch of The Insider, a visionary growth product for the Entertainment Tonight brand.
